Immix® captures and decodes alarms from systems as diverse as Access Control, Fire and Burglary Alarm Panels, Passive Infrared (PIR) and other Proximity Detection devices through a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) or IP camera, Motion Detection and even intelligent video analysis systems.
As each alarm is received into the system it is immediately and automatically decoded and pre-handled. This involves automatically checking to see if it is to be acted upon at this time of day and if so assigning it a priority level. Where appropriate, Immix® will instantly connect to any cameras in the vicinity of the alarm and record images of the event taking place. The system will automatically move fully functional cameras to preset positions if necessary in order to ensure the best images are created.

All available operators are notified of the security alert with an audio prompt and details are placed in a prioritized alarm queue. Subsequent alarms from the same site are automatically collected together into the same event with the overall priority level increasing as necessary.
When an operator takes an event, they are immediately presented with both the live camera showing the location of the latest alarm and a loop of the images automatically recorded the moment the alarm was received. This is important as in the real world the operator will need to concentrate on the newest alarm first - since this where an intruder is most likely to be found. Immix® provides the means of getting straight to the action without requiring needless processing of now out-of-date alerts. While an operator is dealing with an incident on a site, subsequent alarms from the same site are routed directly to the same operator. This ensures that the cause of the alarm is quickly ascertained and maintains the best use of the operator's time.
