Support for virtual guard tours is provided by the system.  Times of  tours can be scheduled into the system for each site and the software will prompt any available agent to undertake this tour when it falls due. A message reminding the agent to check on an aspect of the site or undertake a function can also be attached to each guard tour. The tour itself can be pre-programmed for each site so the agent only need watch the live video window while the cameras will move around and switch from one to another to ensure that a full sweep of the facility is automatically undertaken. A virtual guard tour can also be undertaken at any time and the automated tour can be easily interrupted if something problematic is found.
