Alarm Management |
Central station facilities use automation software platforms to receive and manage alarm information so that appropriate action can be taken in a timely fashion. In addition to monitoring security systems, Immix® also provides central stations with valuable information regarding the status, history and functionality of security systems.
Most central stations are governed by national fire codes, Underwriters Laboratory and other agencies to ensure uniform standards of performance are maintained. Sureview is a member of the Central Station Alarm Association's (CSAA) and the Immix® platform is UL certified to work with leading Alarm Receivers.
Immix® captures alerts and alarms from the on site Alarm Panel, presenting the alert instantly to the central station operator with a detailed alarm screen. All operator actions are recorded in a comprehensive audit trail.
Where a CCTV system is also installed Immix® automatically integrates the alert with the on site CCTV and an integrated video stream from a camera in the vicinity of the alert is also presented to the operator. A strong and highly customisable scripting facility enables the efficient processing of Alarms of differing types and different customers.
The Microsoft Certified Immix® Platform also provides industry leading fall back and recovery features through the use of Windows server 2003 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
