Immix® Hardware Requirements

Standard Configuration (for UL Central Station configuration see below)

Immix Main Server

  • Intel Quad Core 1.60GHz and up 32 bit processor. (Multiple processors for increased performance)
  • 4GB RAM.
  • 1TB hard drive.
  • DVD/CD burner.
  • Display card capable of a minimum 1024 x 768 of resolution in full color.
  • Monitor.
  • Keyboard and mouse.
  • 1GB Network card.
  • Microsoft Server 2003 R2 (32bit) or Microsoft Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2 (32bit) with five (5) Client Access Licenses.
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition (32bit) required for systems using more than two (2) workstations.
  • One (1) Client Access License for each workstation connected to the server.
  • One (1) Client Access License for the server.

NOTE:
For systems using a maximum of two (2) workstations Microsoft SQL Express can be used in place of Microsoft Server 2005 Standard Edition. Immix ships with a copy of Microsoft SQL Express.

  • Serial port concentrator if connecting to more than one DMP or Sur-Guard Receiver.
NOTE:

1. The Immix platform requires a domain based network.

2. It is recommended that large systems with high traffic use a separate server for the image server.

3. Backup servers are recommended for failover.

4. If you are considering a mirrored failover configuration follow the requirements listed below for the UL Central Station with Mirrored Failover Configuration.

5. Microsoft Server 2003 R2 (32 bit), Microsoft Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2 (32 bit), Microsoft SQL Server 2005 (32 bit) and Windows XP Professional (32 bit) have been tested and approved to operate with the Immix software platform. SureView will not guarantee system operation or performance with any other software products and/or versions than those listed as approved. The customer assumes the responsibility and expense to replace the software including any charges incurred by SureView for the reinstallation of the Immix software in the event unapproved software has been installed.

6. The Immix software platform is NOT approved to operate on 64 bit Operating Systems.

7. Server requirements vary for each installation. Please contact SureView Systems Technical Support to discuss exact requirements.

Workstations

  • Pentium (or similar) 1.3GHz and up 32 bit processor.
  • Microsoft Windows XP professional SP3 (32 bit).
    1GB RAM.
  • 120GB hard drive.
  • Display card capable of a minimum 1024 x 768 of resolution in full color.
  • Monitor.
  • Keyboard and mouse.
  • Audio card.


UL Central Station with Mirrored Failover Configuration

Two (2) Immix Main Servers Required (Both computers must be identical)

  • Intel Dual Quad Core 1.60GHz and up 32 bit processor. (Multiple processors for increased performance)
  • 4GB RAM.
  • 1TB hard drive with RAID1 configuration.
  • DVD/CD burner.
  • Display card capable of a minimum 1024 x 768 of resolution in full color.
    Monitor.
  • Keyboard and mouse.
  • Two (2) - 1GB Network cards (Two (2) network cards required in each server).
  • Microsoft Server 2003 R2 (32bit) or Microsoft Server 2003 Standard Edition SP2 (32bit) with five (5) Client Access Licenses.
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Standard Edition (32bit).
    1. One (1) Client Access License for each workstation connected to the server.

    2. One (1) Client Access License for each server.
