Hands-On Workshops
Practical sessions built around real problems your team wants to solve.

LESS TRAINING. MORE SOLUTION BUILDING.
Each workshop is a guided build session. Your team configures real workflows against real data while SureView engineers share the patterns we've seen work across hundreds of operations. By the end, your team doesn't just understand the platform, they own a piece of it: the Action Plan they wrote, the automation they tuned, the decoder they parsed. Live in your environment. Ready to scale.
BUILT AROUND YOUR DATA
Your incidents. Your alerts. Your SOPs. We don't reach for demo data—we work with what your team actually uses, so what you build in the room is ready for implementation.
HANDS-ON
You drive. We co-pilot. Your team owns the keyboard while our engineers answer, validate, and unblock every decision in real-time.
WORKING OUTCOMES
Every workshop ends with a deliverable: an automation, a decoder, a dashboard, an Action Plan–live in your environment.
FIVE WORKSHOPS, FIVE WORKING OUTCOMES
Each session is delivered remotely or on-site, scoped to your environment, and led by the same engineers who configure SureView day-to-day.
ACTION PLANS
7-11 HOURS · MULTIPLE SESSIONS
FOCUS
Transforming manual standard operating procedures into dynamic, digital Action Plans by stripping away redundant steps, engineering complex nested decision logic, and configuring streamlined, enforceable workflows that guide operators through critical events with total consistency.
SESSION DETAILS
-
Session 1: Concepts & Capability Overview (1 Hour) - Introduction to the Action Plan framework, reviewing the various step types, nested logic capabilities, and examples of how digital workflows improve operator compliance.
-
Session 2: Process Audit & Workflow Mapping (2 Hours) - Evaluating existing manual SOPs and translating them into streamlined logic-based flowcharts ready for digital conversion.
-
Session 3: Hands-on Library Construction (2-6 Hours) - Intensive build session(s) focused on configuring step types, required-step enforcement, and complex branching logic within the platform. May require multiple sessions for larger Action Plan libraries.
-
Session 4: Validation & Library Management (2 Hours) - Testing workflows against real-world scenarios and establishing best practices for ongoing library maintenance and version control.
AUTOMATION
7 HOURS · FOUR SESSIONS
FOCUS
Leveraging SureView’s engine to design sophisticated "if/then" workflows that eliminate repetitive manual tasks, accelerate critical decision-making, and utilize live incident data to validate automated response logic.
SESSION DETAILS
-
Session 1: Rules Engine Overview & Demo (1 Hour) - A guided walkthrough of the automation engine within a production-ready demo environment, reviewing real-world examples of high-impact automation rules.
-
Session 2: Discovery & Logic Mapping (2 Hours) - Reviewing operational bottlenecks and mapping manual SOPs into automated logic.
-
Session 3: Hands-on Build & Experimentation (2 Hours) - Direct configuration of custom rules and stress-testing workflows against real-world scenarios.
-
Session 4: Optimization & Scaling (2 Hours) - Refining trigger accuracy to reduce noise and establishing metrics to track time-savings and ROI.
AI & VIRTUAL OPERATOR
20 HOURS · ITERATIVE TUNING
FOCUS
Implementing the Virtual Operator to autonomously manage event triage by configuring custom Guidelines and Action Plans, allowing the AI to dynamically reprioritize, de-escalate, or close incidents based on user-defined conditions and iterative performance tuning.
SESSION DETAILS
-
Initial Setup: Framework & Guideline Configuration (4 Hours) - Establishing the baseline AI context, linking Action Plans to Virtual Operator Guidelines, and setting the logic parameters for event reprioritization.
-
Iterative Phase: Bi-Weekly Tuning & Optimization (14 Hours) - A 7-cycle iteration process consisting of:
-
Manual Validation (7 Hours / 1 Hour per cycle): Independent review by SureView engineers to audit AI decision-making against actual event outcomes.
-
Tuning Sessions (7 Hours / 1 Hour per cycle): Collaborative calls to review success statistics and refine Guidelines based on the validation results.
-
-
Final Review: Scaling & Performance Audit (2 Hours) - Finalizing the automated triage framework and documenting the impact on operational throughput and incident response accuracy.
ADVANCED REPORTING
20 HOURS · FLEXIBLE DELIVERY
FOCUS
Technical training on the SureView data schema, API integration, and the development of custom dashboards to automate operational reporting within third-party visualization tools.
SESSION DETAILS
-
Session 1: Data Schema & KPI Mapping (2 Hours) - Identifying required data points and mapping the SureView database structure to organizational reporting needs.
-
Session 2: API Integration & Connectivity (8 Hours) - Establishing API authentication, testing endpoints, and configuring the data pull between systems.
-
Session 3: Dashboard Development (8 Hours) - Constructing custom visualizations and transforming raw data into production-ready reports.
-
Session 4: Deployment & Automation (2 Hours) - Configuring scheduled data refreshes and deploying the final reporting tool for live use.
CUSTOM ALARM DECODERS
7 HOURS · THREE SESSIONS
FOCUS
Developing custom SMTP and HTTP parsers to ingest alerts from third-party systems, extracting specific data points, and routing events into SureView without full integration projects.
SESSION DETAILS
-
Session 1: Concept & Approach Overview (1 Hour) - Introduction to generic alarm decoding, reviewing the differences between SMTP and HTTP ingestion, and defining the workflow for parsing raw data into actionable alerts.
-
Session 2: Parser Configuration & Data Extraction (4 Hours) - Creating Alarm Decoder and configuring regex or JSON parsers to identify, extract, and map key data fields from incoming alert strings into SureView event fields.
-
Session 3: Validation (2 Hours) - Performing end-to-end testing to ensure alert fidelity, verifying data mapping accuracy, and confirming successful event delivery to the operator desk.
Don't See What You Need?
These are our most-requested workshops, but they aren't the only ones we run. If your team has a specific problem to crack—an integration to scope, a runbook to build, a migration to plan—tell us what it is and we'll design a session around it. Same format, same hands-on outcome, tailored to your environment.
