Project Rollout
Smarter SureView Response deployment with clear services, defined steps, and fewer surprises.

A CLEAR PATH TO DEPLOYMENT
BUILT FOR A SMOOTH GO-LIVE
Delivering SureView Response starts with a clear plan. Here you'll find the highlights for key project activities that support a successful deployment, from initial planning through go-live. It also shows where teams can streamline effort, stay aligned on scope, and avoid unexpected delays or added costs, helping customers move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
BLUEPRINT
Capture all relevant information, define the scope and develop the project plan
ON-BOARDING & PROJECT DETAILS
Configure the main operational process and procedures
INTEGRATIONS
Deploy the integrations to the sub-systems
TRAINING & WORKSHOPS
Train operators and administrators how to use the system
GO-LIVE SUPPORT
Provide dedicated support through the Go-Live process
PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
Ensure the project is delivered against the agreed scope
6 STEPS TO A FASTER, EASIER LAUNCH
These six steps highlight the key milestones behind a smooth, successful SureView launch, from planning and configuration to training, go-live, and ongoing project support. They show where teams can accelerate deployment, reduce complexity, and stay aligned on scope, timeline, and cost.
BLUEPRINT
The Blueprint phase focuses on gathering information to ensure the successful launch and ongoing management of the project from beginning to end. During this stage, key items are identified and supporting documents are created to help keep the project on schedule. This milestone is vital for setting clear objectives and requirements early, which enables proper scheduling and contributes to a smooth implementation and go-live.
This milestone is broken down into the following sub-phases:
-
Conduct a GAP analysis to compare current systems against the project scope and identify requirements early
-
Develop and align the project foundation with an approved Project Plan and RACI matrix agreed by both the Customer and SureView
-
Define the technical approach through high-level architectural designs, along with documented hardware sizing and architecture information
-
Establish go-live readiness with an agreed Issue Resolution Plan and clearly defined user readiness criteria built into the project plan
ONBOARDING & PROJECT DETAILS
This milestone is broken down into four (4) subphases:
SYSTEM STANDUP & ORGANIZATIONAL CONFIGURATION
Task includes setting up a customer’s tenancy (instance of SureView) to include the following elements provided by the customer.
-
Complete the SureView Runbook. This is designed to capture the key information required for your operation to respond to security events. This includes information about your locations, users, contacts, event/incident types and closure codes.
-
Organizational Settings (Retention, etc)
-
User permissions (Active Directory Config or Manual process)
-
Actions - Procedures (Initial Gathering of the Customers Procedures as it relates to Alarm and Event Handling)
INCIDENT TYPE & EVENT CONFIGURATION
Alarm & Event Types are identified and programmed within the application. Examples: Door Forced Open, Medical Emergency, Panic Alarm, Motion Alarms, etc. Some of these will be based on integration types, and some of these will be based on Events that are manually raised in the system based on the customer's current operations.
CONFIGURATION OF FLOOR PLANS
Devices from underlying systems are plotted on the map interface of the platform, improving situational awareness in the application.
ONBOARDING SUPPORT
This includes extra support required for onboarding new applications, systems, and configurations. Examples: Active Directory Connections, Server Configurations and Standups, Network/ Firewall Configurations, etc.
INTEGRATIONS
The goal of this milestone is to connect SureView to the different subsystems in scope. Each integration deployment will be handled as a separate milestone within the project plan. The objectives included in the implementation of each of the integrations are:
-
Review the integrations in scope and the functionality and support documentation for each integration to confirm requirements and identify any updates or development needed
-
Deploy Ops Link Server(s) for video and alarm integrations, including connectivity testing in production and verification of the OpsLink failover setup
-
Connect to UAT systems in the customer’s lab, gather a full audit of devices and cameras, and sync devices from each sub-system into SureView
-
Verify end-to-end integration performance by confirming alarm connectivity, live camera streaming, and full functionality across every supported integration
TRAINING & WORKSHOPS
This Milestone provides the training of the System and is broken down into four (4) sub-phases:
ACTION PLANS WORKSHOP
During the Action Plans workshop, SureView will work with the customer to convert their current procedures and response processes into Action Plans. The goal of the workshop is to automate as many processes as possible in their workflow, focusing on providing operators with clear guidance and steps they need to follow when processing events. SureView will guide the customer through best practices and lessons learned from others who have undertaken the same initiatives.
SUREVIEW CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL (ADMINISTRATOR)
The SureView Certified Professional Workshops will include various Online, In-Person, and Documentation review by the administrators of the application to ensure that they are prepared to support the application after implementation. Examples include - Online Training Tutorials, Installation and Troubleshooting Guides, Online Help and Support Mechanisms, and more as needed to ensure the customer is successful and has internal support where needed.
SUREVIEW REPORTING & KPIs SESSION
During the Reporting and KPI's Session, SureView will train on SureView Insights as well as review their requirements for reporting from the system. If the customer plans to use a data visualization tool with the SureView API the team will review the requirements and provide examples of how to develop these reports.
RESPONSE - OPERATOR TRAINING
SureView In-Person and On-Line Training for standard users of the system, typically performed 2-3 weeks prior to going live.
GO-LIVE SUPPORT
During the first week or two of the system go-live, the SureView project team will be dedicated to supporting the customer by providing additional training, troubleshooting, or consultation to ensure a smooth system deployment within the environment.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
This is the time allocated to the overall SureView Project Management Support. A SureView Project manager will be assigned to the Project and manage the Project Plans, ongoing meetings and meeting minutes, escalations and change order requests.
